Panel on Biological Hazards

The Panel on Biological Hazards assesses issues on microbiological food hygiene, contamination of food by human pathogen microorganisms and transmissible spongiform encephalopathies. The Panel also assesses the development of resistance against antimicrobials and disinfectants including transmission of resistance genes to pathogenic microorganisms.
